The NEW Razor Opener features patented seed wing technology for perfect seed placement every time. As the seed drops, the shape of the wing guides the seed to the outermost part of the wing while a slight reverse drop keeps the seed in place. This ensures the most even and consistent seed placement. We also made the wing stronger by using a wear resistant plastic to reduce soil build up in wet conditions.

Like the original Anderson opener invented more than 25 years ago, the NEW Razor Opener unleashes the full potential of fertilizer. The opener parts the soil, places liquid and/or dry fertilizer slightly below the seed and then seals the fertilizer before precision seed placement. Because the fertilizer mineralizes closer to the seed, the seed is able to fully utilize all the fertilizer. This allows the grower to experience greater cost savings on fertilizer so it’s easy to see why the NEW Razor Opener is precision that pays for itself.
